I write and edit in the interstices of parenting, homeschooling, and a little therapeutic gardening and chicken management. I read while I brush my teeth so that I can fit it in. I drink a lot of tea.

I’ve spent over a decade conducting original research on the life of writer and speaker Elisabeth Elliot. My full-length biography of Elliot, Elisabeth Elliot: A Life, is available wherever books are sold.

I have also tutored, worked for Hewitt Learning as a high-school English evaluator, and worked as editor of Spring Hill Review, a (print-only) journal of Pacific Northwest culture. My high-school English textbooks, British Christian Authors and American Christian Authors, have been published by Hewitt as part of their Lightning Literature & Composition series.
